So you would play with ZERO strikers???
You're a fucking genius

Antonio's got great desire - he's played on shitty pitches in Tooting against crap sides like Walton, so he would give up his kidneys just to wear the West Ham shirt. He's the rags-to-riches Rocky story of this division, probably drinking egg yoke and pounding imported EU beef as we speak. You gotta like the bloke.

Think at home you can afford to start Antonio, Lanzini and Payet (Payet playing centrally) with just two centre midfielders out of Song, Kayoute and Noble. Away games Antonio may have to be dropped to accommodate another centre midfielder.

Gentry,
Just being pedantic but you need to add another Antonio at the end to complete it. Thanks. Up the Hammers.

The interesting thing will be when Lanzini is back fully fit. Who gets dropped for him?

Antonio without a doubt. Work rate, passion, running, scoring.
The header last night was sublime, put in the one spot to score with enough spin on it.
The most improved player this season.

I like Antonio a lot. As others have said, work rate cannot be faulted, knows where the onion bag is and also gets back when needed.
I also like how he links up with Carroll, so I'm keen to see these two reunited in the not too distant future.
Very good time to be a West Ham United fan.

Forget about expensive loans from now on.
Antonio all the way. He's reproducing his form at Forest at a higher level and is a great team player. I don't know why Bilic was so long in letting the monster loose.

Moses has more talent, and currently more ability. Really!?

Re: Moses vs Antonio

Antonio is such an honest player. He runs his socks off, tracks back, makes forward runs, always shows for the ball and doesn't hide.
His confidence after this recent run in the team is there for all to see. I said a week or so ago he looks like the penny has dropped and he has realised he can cut it at PL level. This has seen a change in his body language and demeanour. He now has a presence and he knows he is dangerous.
Still a little raw but we are starting to see glimpses of class. Like the header last night. And I always played left back and I tell you if I had him playing in front of me I would love him. He makes our right backs job so much easier as the work he does defending is as valuable as what he does going forward.

Antonio is a really good player, but it is his physicality, work rate and attitude that make him the player he is.
Who should be ahead in the pecking order? It's a bit like choosing between Adebayor and Tevez. I know who I'd rather have on my side.

Antonio to me seems have improved. He looked to have some good ball control last night added to his obvious speeed and power.
Could play as centre forward.
Moses is a bit one dimesional and lazy.

I love Antonio.
His passion and his desire are both immense and his skills are improving all the time, as is his confidence. He has a tremendous capacity to get up and down the pitch, he runs all day, has good vision and possess a brilliant throw-in.
Antonio over Moses all day for me.
Did I say I love him, as I do.

I agree with a lot of the other comments on here. He's limited in ability compared to others but he's putting in a shift. He's effective and improving and getting goals. What's not to like? Keep it up.

Antonio is a fantastic role model for any youngster out there who is prepared to put in a double shift to compensate for a limited skill set in order to compete at the highest level (much like Noble)
Danny Drinkwater is another perfect example and on current form should stroll into Hodgson's England team
